This is Bob. We trained bob to detect patterns in text. We trained Bob by feeding him a bunch of tweets and comments from the provider pages on downdetector.com. Bob can now recognize which topic a specific tweet or comment belongs to. He is getting smarter every day.
We can use these labels as input for the Downdetector outage detection algorithm and to provider our enterprise customers with extra input, without having to dig through pages of comments and tweets themselves. Or we can use the labels to see what people are talking about on social media.
